Getting comfortable in the water for the first time
- Don't swim alone. Always go swimming with one other person
- When you're first learning how to swim, don't ever go into water that's too deep for you to stand straight up in
- Don’t swim in water too cold
- Wear goggles I can make you feel more comfortable underwater
- Well floating on your back try to hold your breath and have your lungs full of air
- Also were floating on your back a good tip is to Stick your stomach out
- while floating Try to keep your arms at a right angle So that your body is in a T-shape

These are good tips but “don't ever swim alone” and “don't go into water that’s too deep” are probably the most important ones, people can drown in as little as 5 inches of water, so its important to always have someone watching out for you when swimming, you never know what could happen. ~Taylor

ReplyDeleteIn my old private school it was mandatory for us to know how to swim. I am not an expert but i know a lot of tricks.
ReplyDeleteyour entire blog really opened my eyes about how new and scary swimming can be to some people. i grew up with a pool in my backyard so i have known how to swim since i was 3 or 4, but i never realized how scary it can be for people who didn’t grow up the way i did.
